He is off to Iraq

Christian asked me to post this note to everyone:

I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support they have shown Trevor, Sharon and me. It means more to us then you can ever know. Thank you.

I am currently at Fort Benning, GA. For the last week we've been qualifying with weapons, running and rolling in the dirt, listening to boring classes and getting our equipment issue. You can be assured that your government is sending its soldiers off with the best gear available. We begin the trip to Iraq tomorrow. I will send photos once we get settled.

I am a day behind posting this as Trevor and I just got back from our trip to Houston this weekend. They left on a chartered flight this evening and after several stops will be in Iraq. Not really sure how long and where- top secret details- but I expect it will be several days before they actually make it to their final destination. Once there it will take some time to get the Internet line run to their CHU (something housing unit), but hopefully then we will get the promised pictures and Trevor will get to see Daddy on the computer again!!
