Still haven't heard anything from Christian. We were hoping he would be able to send a text message to us- at exorbitant rates, but at least we would know he had gotten there safe and sound!! I'm hoping to hear something from him in the next day or two.
I have to share a Trevor story. After he was baptized on the 28th of September he took his first communion. They placed the wafer in his hands and he held it up and when they brought the wine he clearly said "NO THANKS". Christian and I laughed the whole way back to our seats!!
Yesterday was his third time for communion. He walked up with me- knelt at the altar, held his hands up and took the wafer, waited for them to bring the wine and with guidance dipped it in the wine and placed it in his mouth!!! It was so sweet and he looked so grown-up. I can't believe that he was the same child that two weeks ago was saying "No thanks!!".
Will add an update once I hear something from Christian.
