So no more snakes, but do you know what Christian's first response was when he found out about it? "You didn't kill it did you????" While we all know I didn't, there was more concern for the snake than us :) (kidding). I've escorted out more centipedes or possibly millipedes out of the house this week- but they had all moved on to a better life already.
Christian spent some time at Joint Base Balad earlier this week- he took Monkey along for the visit- see picture above. He was able to see some old friends that were getting ready to head home after their 9 month tour.
I've been told it is already 110 there- one of Christian's coworkers described it like living in a hairdryer. Constant really hot air blowing around you. Other than counting the days for his return home he is doing good.
Trevor and I will spend the weekend with my family as my niece Tara graduates from Grad school at UT on Saturday!! We are very proud of her!!
Happy Memorial Day!

Lt. Col. von Wupperfeld,
We are thinking of you, especially today. We are so thankful for your service, and that of your fellow servicemen and women. You, Sharon, and Trevor are in our prayers regularly. We are thankful that you are over the half-way point. Stay safe, and know that you are in the prayers of many back home. Sincerely, the O'Connells
