Italy Update

Well, we are still waiting. The latest word is that he will be here on Tuesday. I think this is the real one finally!! On Saturday we thought he was going to be here Sunday, so I'm trying not to put all my hopes into this one.

Today we went to Cumae- and saw Sibyl's cave. Trevor hiked to the Temple of Apollo and the Temple of Jupiter. He is actually a really good hiker. I'm also pleased to announce that it seems Trevor is now over his fear of dogs!!! There are TONS of wild dogs & cats here. As we were hiking around there were lots of dogs that the guides along the trail either owned or cared for (very docile and tame). Trevor was walking by them saying "Hi doggie, oh, what a cute doggie".

Yesterday was Sienna & Kylie's birthday party. They had a "Fancy" party. Both girls are totally into Fancy Nancy (kid's books that the little girl is into anything Fancy and uses big words). Vicki went over the top- which was the point- and it was a beautiful party. We made all kinds of tea sandwiches, punch, chocolate dipped strawberries & pretzels, raspberry filled muffins, strawberry shortcake, and fruit with this YUMMY dip.

Tomorrow we are hoping to get Christian from the airport and then we will head towards Sorrento on Wednesday. I don't know what kind of access I'm going to have- if any. I still haven't been able to pull pictures off, so I will have to post them once we get home. For those of you in Austin who have been told that Austin has the worst allergies- Austin doesn't have ANYTHING on Naples!!! Their is pollen everywhere and to make matters worse, people burn everything here- and I mean everything- plastic plates, diapers, they don't care!! I'm looking forward to Sorrento in hopes that it will alleviate some of our allergies. Poor Trevor is pretty much a runny nose mess all day long.
