We are now very close to seeing Christian- I can't believe the day is finally here!! We still aren't sure when he will arrive- sometime between tomorrow and Tuesday. Got to love the Army for that one!!
Tonight I went to a Navy "Hail & Farewell and Wetting down ceremony". They combined the events. The Navy gets together everyone from their wardroom (not 100% sure what that is) and they welcome new families into the ward room and say farewell to any families leaving. Since they combined the promotions of several officers also into the event they catered the evening.
Yesterday we went to a Murano glass store that was way cool (and I bought a few things :) I also meet several women from the ward room, so it was nice that I knew a few people going into tonight. They are really a bunch of nice people that were very welcoming.
Hopefully next time I write it will be to say Christian is here!!
