Well, thankfully the Longhorns pulled out the win on Saturday- it was a exhausting game to be at- way to stressful!!! It was also my 40th birthday, so the win was a nice birthday present!! After the game I went to dinner with our families at Buca di Beppo. We had a really good dinner and a good time- with 17 people there it was a great distraction from turning 40 and Christian not being here!!
I talked to Christian this evening. He is doing well and getting into the routine. He is still working on some issues with his notebook, but I have been promised pictures as soon as he can get them out and I will post them as soon as I can. He was at the US Embassy last week and got stuck there and had to sleep in a tent on the Embassy lawn- I was thinking sleeping bag- maybe a cot. No, these tents were complete with real beds, so he wasn't roughing it too bad!!!
We continue to be working with the backyard construction. It is coming together, but still taking forever. They started on September 23rd and it looks like they might finish week after next!! It has been another good distraction, but I'm ready to get up in the morning and not have five guys walking around my backyard!! I'm also ready to have a backyard Trevor can run around and play in where I don't have to watch his every move like I do in front!!
