He is HOME!!!

Christian arrived back in Austin at 5:12pm on Monday. Peter & Anne (Christian's parents) rode out to the airport with us and Trevor & I were able to get gate passes and meet him when he got off the airplane. We of course made a HUGE sign.

I had told Trevor several times he couldn't run down the gangway (he was waving a flag waiting for Daddy to come off). When he saw him he dropped the flag and ran. He stopped at the door and looked back when he realized he was at the gangway and I told him he could go get Daddy. It was really sweet. The people all around us started clapping and cheering. We got lots of smiles and congratulations.

I will also say that the airport staff was phenomenal. Getting the gate pass was super easy and the lady working at the gate took pictures for us (while they weren't great, they are pictures!!). I will post some pics soon.

We stopped at Chuy's for dinner on the way home and Trevor has started Daddy on a tour of his favorite pizza places. Yesterday lunch was Chuck E, tonight we will probably make pizza for him, and tomorrow is Gattitown and Inner Space. We haven't scheduled Saccone's yet, but that is Trevor's favorite place (though it doesn't have the games).
