Greetings from the set of the Colbert Report. When I arrived at work this morning Mr. Colbert's desk was unattended. Trevor's monkey and I couldn't resist. What are they going to do, send me to Iraq? I've seen three shows so far and they are all very funny. I encourage everyone to watch. I'm on the fourth row of the audience for Wednesday night's show, otherwise I'm watching from the balcony. It's been quite the week and all of the folks from Colbert's show have been very gracious.

Hello Christian,
Was forwarded your blog from my husband's mom, who got the link from your brother. My husband, Darius, will be there with you this week playing with Everlast. I know he was really honored to have a chance to play there...hope you guys get to meet. I appreciate reading your experience and seeing the pictures! Thanks for all you do.
Caroline.
My buddy Paul (partner from 6th St, who is now a Lt with APD) is also in Baghdad. He, too, was on the 4th row for a Colbert show and we saw him. It was the episode with the Iraqi Deputy PM Barhem Saleh. Looked for you, too, in case you were there but you may have been on another episode. Take it easy, brother!
