We got home Thursday the 2nd around 11:30. It is nice to be back in Texas, but we wish Christian had come home with us. Trevor did great- he knew Daddy had to go back to work and didn't question that too much. There was no huge meltdown when he left or even any drama. We said goodbye quickly at the airport and had to board different bus's to different terminals. Thankfully he did sleep some on the way home. I did the math yesterday- he was awake 29 hours straight when we went over there. The longest he has ever been awake until then was 12 or 13 hours!!
Pictures are going to take awhile- I hope. We downloaded all our pictures onto Christian's notebook and it has fried. We think it is the motherboard and he is shipping his notebook back to me to have Dell come fix it. Hopefully I will be able to pull the pictures off. We got some great pictures.
New Trevorism. After the incident in the Austin airport, Trevor has become very interested in case of emergency. He read the what to do in case of emergency card in the airplane for 45 minutes. In Europe the showers have cords hanging down in the hotel that you can pull in case you fall down and can't get up :) For those of you who don't have kids or have older kids, little kids pants many times have "adjustable waists", which are elastic bands with button holes around the waist so you can tighten the waistlines or let them out as they grow. So my child, in his infinite wisdom, asks me "Mommy, what is this cord for? Do I pull it if there is an emergency in my pants?" Needless to say, it was awhile before I could stop laughing :)
