Well, we are more than four months down now- so if they hold him the full year we are a third of the way there!! Laugh at me- but it feels better to hit a bigger milestone like a third of the way there.
Trevor and I are getting ready for our trip to Italy. He knows that he is going to get to see Daddy finally- and I have also emphasized that when it is time to go home that Daddy has to go back to work and we will have to come home without him. He seems to understand it and has told other people that when we talk about our trip, but I'm praying that he really does understand it. That is my only concern is when we have to say goodbye again.
Trevor is doing great and seems to have finally adjusted to it being just him & Mom. We have settled into a routine of sorts. He loves getting to sit on the couch with Mom and watch a movie- we have been getting movies from the library and I made the mistake of telling him he could pick any movie he wanted. It wasn't Barney at least- I might have said oops, it broke and paid for it to not have to watch that one!! He picked Teletubbies. I've never really sat and watched them- or if I have I blocked it from memory for good reason. Needless to say there will be a qualifier on the next trip to the library!!

Christian - I loved your comments on the inauguration well said and your letter for Trevor was very touching and poignant. BTW - I always knew that you would be a good dad.
