Hi Sharon,

We've never met, but I know Christian from college. You probably already know that since we exchange Christmas cards. I just wanted to say how thankful I am that good people like Christian are serving our country. I am sad for you that he will be gone so long and that you and your son will be without him for the holidays.

I appreciate your Christmas card and this blog to keep all of us abreast as to his situation. I know he is proudly serving, and our family will pray for his hard work and safe return.

If you'd ever like to talk, you can email me at kimw@negativeeddy.com. I have 3 boys, and I am familiar with the trials and tribulations of boys and kids and being a stay-at-home mom.

Have a blessed holiday season.

Love,
Kim Williams & family

Christian,

Do you really go swimming in that pool? And what's up with the stuffed animal? Is that from your son?
