Go LONGHORNS!!!

I am heading out to the UT vs. Missouri game in a little bit- Hook'em Horns!! I wish Christian was here to go with me, but my nephew is going with me so we should have a lot of fun. We are heading out early to make sure we can get in lots of tailgating before the game!!

Trevor & I talked to Christian several times yesterday. We talked to him before he went to bed (morning our time) and then I talked to him as he was getting to work (about 11pm our time) last night. I think I have the times right- it is SO confusing!! He is doing well, his trailer continues to be a sand magnet so he is going to improvise a air purification system with a box fan, air filters and duct tape!!

The palace he is working at is on the water and looks very fancy, but most of the stuff in there is fake (gold leafing, chandeliers). Christian is going to take a picture of himself in a chair that Yasir Arafat gave Saddam. Friday night is Surf & Turf night in Iraq so he had crab & scallops- said they were actually pretty good- better than he expected (though I don't think expectations were high!!).

Trevor is adjusting- his behavior has been less than stellar, but is improving. When he was in trouble the other day he ran away from me into his playroom. When I followed him in there he said "You get out of here Woman". If there was ever a time I thought about corporal punishment that was it!! Yesterday he was sweet as could be though, so I'm hoping we are on the road to adjusting to Daddy being gone.
